Dear Mr. & Mrs. Schmidt:
On behalf of the Oshkosh Housing Authority, we are sending the attached landscape plan
for the proposed parking lot at the adjacent group home. By request of the Zoning Board
the Authority is required to plant a hedge along their South lot line adjacent to the
Evergreens bordering your property. Rather than close in the existing trees, the Authority
proposes to complete the planting of Spruce trees to fill in the open space on the North
edge of your property to screen the parking lot. These trees would be 2" to 3" in
diameter and 4' to 5' in height, planted by the Authority at no cost to you, in line with the
existing trees on your property. The attached plan indicates this proposal. Should the
trees on your property at the parking lot area be removed for any reason, the Authority
will plant a new hedge on their property.
If this proposal meets with your approval, please sign the attached copy of this letter and
return it to us in the enclosed envelope. Should you have additional questions, please call
Brad Masterson at 424 -1450.
