Scanlan 1313 Monroe Street Oshkosh, WI 54901 RE: 1313 Monroe Street - Zoning Ordinance Violations - Construction In a Setback Dear Mr. Scanlan: On April 12, 1994, a City Building Inspector inspected the above referenced location and found that a concrete slab and fence had been placed /constructed without the issuance of the appropriate City permits. Pleased be advised that this is a Violation /Correction Notice for the illegal placement /construction of a concrete slab and fence in the rear yard setback. The fence in question is allowed, with the issuance of a building permit. The concrete slab is not permitted, unless the slab has a 21 ft. minimum rear yard setback, and is not allowed without the issuance of a building permit. If the slab is not immediately brought into compliance with the required 2i ft. rear yard setback, and all applicable permits applied for by you or your representative, and approved, this issue will be turned over to the City Attorney's office for the appropriate legal action. This may include the issuance of citations, to gain compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. If you have any questions in this regard, please feel free to contact me at 236 - 5059.
