Inspector Oscar Hild: brand, Owner Robert L. Yarbro, Architect The entire supporting structure and enclosing walls for the building are In • bad state of deterioration. By visual inspection there appears t©i be no foundation under any part/ of the wood fracas building. A wood silt originally placed under the south watt and ap- parently resting on earth has ro sd away. There Is AO support for this wall whatever. Sy construction this wall was intended to support the hipped roof construction. The east wall, also a bearing wall, constructed of 2 x 4 studs le settling at various depths - along its entire isngth,/ This Is turn shows up In the wavy roof tine. The studs ore covered with vortical boards which are rotting away. Some asphalt coated paper has boon applied to a portion of this well. The north wall Is built against a brick building,. Ths west wall is wavy In its entire length and out of plumb, The original roof structural system is hard to define. There le a row of wood columns in the canter of the building supportin g various wood members, braces and vertical pisses added as neces = 'airy to keep the roof more or less in Its proper Some main mo bers have sheared through and are unssfe, One . member supporting roof joists ends abruptly a few feet short of any bearing point. The 2 x 4 roof joists are rotting out where exposed to weather as are the roof boards. There Is an earth floor in the building. column bases could not be wade due to the vast samaunt ©oftstored items In the building. JULIUS S. SANDSTEDT, F.A.I.A. ARMIN W.
