Item 4: Darryn Burich will provide an update on past items the SAB has taken action on:
1. Focus on Energy - forwarded to City Manager.
2. Terrace Trees - forwarded to City Manager.
3. Urban Chicken Ordinance -once reviewed by the Legal Department, this item will be
forwarded to the Common Council. If approved, the plan is to give the ordinance an
effective date about month after approval to give time to complete the educational
component required by the Board of Health (compost brochure is completed, but we
are still waiting for the "how to" brochure) and to train licensing staff.
Item 5: See attached item 5. Darryn Burich will provide an update about SAB staff and
process per discussions with the City Manager.
Item 6: See attached item 6. Steve Barney has requested the Board discuss this item. The
Board should vote on whether or not to forward this item to the City Manager.
Item 7: See 3 attached items for 7 for Energy Efficiency Subcommittee ( Margy Davey & Steve
Barney)
Darryn Burich will give a Sustainability Plan update at the meeting after the Steering
Committee meets on March 2 "

Justin Mitchell would like to discuss this item after the Board views the Common Council
discussion that took place on February 22, 2011.
Item 9: Bob Breest, member of the Bike /Pedestrian Plan Working Group, will give an update.
Item 10: Jan Scalpone, who volunteered to update the Transit document for the Sustainable
Oshkosh webpage, will give an update.
