Neshkoro, WI 54960 -6438 Dear Ms. Koch; This letter is a follow -up to our recent telephone conversation concerning the work you would like done at your property located at 916 Ceape St., here in Oshkosh. Specifically you have requested a new roof be installed on the front porch of this home replacing an existing flat roof with a pitched roof. The dimensions of this porch is approximately 7' x 14' and a building permit will be required. We will remove the old roof, you have agreed to handle the disposal of the discarded material. A new pitched roof will then be installed complete with 25 year warranted asphalt shingles, trim and white vinyl soffit and fascia. An effort will be made to match the shingles on the rest of the house although an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Inside a new ceiling will be installed using '' /z" drywall, finished smooth and coated with a sand textured white paint. In addition to the roof you have some paneling you would like installed on the inside of the porch. We will put up this paneling and other necessary trim material you provide that will give the interior a nice finished look. I€ it is necessary to purchase this trim material that cost will be added to this estimate. We will also install a new entry door in the exisiting opening, if a larger opening is required additional costs will be incurred. The cost for these projects is $1800.00 which includes all labor and the materials we have agreed to supply. Because it is an older home however it is always wise to allow a little more to cover unseen problems. At the moment work could begin next week weather permitting. A deposit equal to half the total cost is due prior to work commencing with the balance due upon completion. As mentioned above a building permit is required and I would be happy to meet you at the building inspectors office to arrange for this permit and answer any questions he might have. The office hours for getting this type of perniit is 7:30 — 8:30 am. and 12:30 —1:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
