Dear Mr. O'Neill,
Examination of the plumbing plans and specifications for this project has been completed. In
accord with Chapter 145, Wisconsin Statute, and COMM 81 through 85, Wisconsin
Administrative Code, the plumbing plans and specifications are approved contingent upon
compliance with the stipulation(s) noted below. A stamped copy of the plan shall be on the job
site during construction per requirements in COMM 82.20(6).
1. Per COMM 82.35 (3) — All gravity flow horizontal drains within or under a building shall be accessible
through cleanout..
2. Per COMM 82.31 table 82.31 -3 limits developed length of vent header based on drainage fixture unit
load and pipe diameter as measured from the most upstream fixture served by the vent system.
3. Per COMM 82.40 the pipe diagram indicates possible connection of a water softener that is not
included in the water calculation work sheet to determine the impact on the calculated "A" value for
distribution pipe sizing. If the softener is ever included as an appliance in this system a new water
calculation work sheet must be submitted that includes the impact of the new appliance on
downstream pipe size.
4. This plan review does not include approval for development of site utilities per COMM 82.20 the sewer
and water service piping systems must be submitted under separate cover for review and approval
before they are installed.
In the event installation of this plumbing system has not commenced within two years from this
date, this approval shall become void. A new application accompanied by full examination
fees shall be filed and an updated approval received before work may commence. In granting
this approval, the City of Oshkosh or its representative does not hold itself liable for any
defects in plans or specifications, plan omissions, examination oversight, construction or any
damage that may result in or after installation. The City of Oshkosh reserves the right to order
changes or additions should conditions arise making this necessary. It shall be necessary for
the installing plumber to obtain a plumbing permit from the City of Oshkosh before proceeding
with actual installation of this plumbing system or any of its parts.
