HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's ReportOshkosh Area Economic Development Corporation Downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District REPORT February 2011 Accomplishments BID Marketing Consortium ❖ Prepared for the monthly meeting ❖ Worked with Chair of Consortium for planning purposes ❖ Sent out prior minutes and agenda to all marketing consortium members ❖ Worked on Budget for 2011 ❖ Collected Contributions/Event Contributions ❖ Annual membership drive ❖ Coordinated and held month meeting with leadership team ❖ Updated Downtown Website ❖ Developed and distributed Newsletter through Constant Contact ❖ Worked with advertisers on first quarter ads for BID Beautification ❖ Held month beautification meeting ❖ Discussed benches, bike racks, and trash receptacles ❖ Reviewed and approved billing for ground effects ❖ Placed order for trash receptacles and recycling cans - worked with city ❖ Discussed budget with Ground Effects and chair of beautification ❖ Worked with banner sponsorships — coordinated with Ground Effects and OEC Graphics ❖ Worked with City, Beautification Committee, and Art City Signs on Kiosks for Main Street • Communication ❖ Held monthly meeting with committee ❖ Held brainstorming session ❖ Sent out minutes • RFG ❖ Worked with three potential property owner ❖ Assisted with one clients paperwork ❖ Review /approve receipts • Other ❖ Organized branding efforts for BID Board ❖ 2010 Annual Report ❖ Coordinated efforts with city on forming Strategic Parking Committee • Responded /made an estimated 27 informational calls, questions and concerns in regards to Downtown BID • Attended/Held an estimated 9 meetings • Managed day to day activities of the BID
