Building addition and heating addition plans are conditionally approved.
The plans have been reviewed for compliance with the code requirements set
forth in Chapters ILHR 50 -64 of the rules of the department. Construction may
proceed subject to local regulations, but all items that are required to be
changed by this letter must be corrected before commencing that part of the
work.
This plan has not been reviewed for compliance with Chapters ILHR 82 -86, the
plumbing rules of the department.
You are hereby advised that the owner as defined in Chapter 101.01(2)(e) of
the Wisconsin State Statutes is responsible for all code requirements not
specifically cited herein.
The building will be inspected during and after construction. The owner shall
notify the state building inspector and the local officials before taking
possession of the building.
ILHR 50.15 Evidence of Approval. The architect, professional engineer,
designer, builder or owner shall keep, at the building, one set of plans
bearing the stamp of approval.
This building is classified as No. 5B, exterior masonry, unprotected w
construction.

ILHR 52.012 (3) The Stores Room 15 will be greater than 100 square feet and
will require sprinklers, if the existing wall is removed.
ILHR 52.012 (1 )(b) 1. Sprinklers are required in mezzanines exceeding 2,500
square feet, except that a 2,500 square foot mezzanine is permitted to be
provided with smoke detectors which are wired to the manual fire alarm system
which is audible at all occupied areas of the building.
ILHR 51.03, Table A Line 20, and ILHR 51.02 (11) The mezzanine floor level
shall be separated from the first floor level by 1 -hour fire - resistive
construction. This includes 1 -hour glass at the projection ports, or fire
shutters, or fire doors in various locations.
