The only trusses that require repairs are fgt-03a and 2 f-01. The 2 f -01 are directly to the west of the last fgt -03 X have added a label on the Layout on these two as f -O la. Both of the modifications are minor and' will be addressed with a plywood gusset over the joint. • l have sent these 2 trusses in for an engineered repair. We still have not received the repair drawings referenced in the 8/14/06 letter from Noffke Lumber, and many of the numbers in the revised drawings are illegible or difficult to accurately determine what they are. In reviewing these I called the Engineer with MiTek - Xuegang Liu (XL) and discussed some of my concerns with him. In talking with him unless the drawings we get are stamped drawings we should not rely on them, as the lumber yards do not have the ability to do engineering and review for all of the proper input values. While the latest drawings appear to be headed in the right direction, I can't read all of the information to make an accurate determination that all the required loads have been included in the input values, and the spacing for the trusses matches the layout drawing. As I will be out of the office on Friday, I have place the drawings you gave me in your mail box. It would be my opinion that we should require the stamped drawings from MiTek, be provided, along with the repair drawings. When we have a more legible set of drawings I can then better review to see if all the drift load was included in the truss design.
