HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter (complaint) - 06/05/2000 City of Oshkosh RECEIVED 215 Church St. JUN 8 2000 Oshkosh WI. CITY UANAGER Dear Mr. Wollangk, June 5, 2000 OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN I am writing your office for assistance on a problem. On May 14, 2000 I drafted the attached letter to the Dept. of Housing for the City. The letter explains my problem which is basically there is a property adjacent to one I own that is in terrible shape. The weeds are over grown. The grass is not cut. There is an unsightly and unsafe structure on the grounds. Since sending my letter the lawn has been cut once! As of today the situation is much the same as it was on May 14 In my original letter I had requested that the city communicate to me what action was being taken. To date I have not heard a thing. I read the newspaper and understand the building inspection office has more work than it can supposedly handle. Well don't we all! It does not take but a few minutes to schedule an inspection (even if it is a month down the line) then draft a letter to me explaining the situation. I do not know if different departments handle the variety of problems I am talking about but either way I do not understand why someone could not contact me in regards to what is being done. It has been a full three weeks since I sent the original communication_ I would appreciate it if you could follow -up with the appropriate people and see to that my situation is addressed. I can be reached through a variety of methods. Phone, U.S. mail, or Email. Thank you for taking the time to read this and handle the problem.
