We have reminded the tenants as per the letters we sent to them to keep the common areas clean and to make sure that the garbage is stored properly. Copies of these letters were sent to you. The garage roof repairs are in process. However, the contractor we hired to do it has been delayed due to an illness with his wife. I am looking for an exact date when he will be doing the garage roof. We are in the process of determining when someone can do the work necessary to modify the steps. It appears they are approximately 1.0 to 1.5 inches off. I am reviewing various options to correct the situation. The porch roof will be replaced in the same time frame as the garage roof. The balance of the roof on the house will not be replaced unless a roofer indicates to me that the useful life of the roof has expired. There are no roof leaks that we are aware of at the property. The balance of the roof on the house appears to be in a better condition than the other two properties we have already roofed this summer. Therefore, this portion will be postponed to a later date. Additionally, the siding will be reviewed, again, for any necessary repairs, as per my understanding during our meeting with Mr. Bush. I am aware that the City does not require siding to be replaced just because the City feels that it may not be appealing. As long as it is functional, the siding is acceptable. I will say, here in this letter, that I am not opposed to siding the property in the future. However, it will not be this year. At this point, I have been told the siding is not in such a state of disrepair where the only thing that can be done is to side the building. The concern the City has, based on what I have been told, is that the type of siding currently on the building is no longer appealing in today's market. I will provide you with exact dates once the contractor provides them to me. Sincerely, (4 Todd 7. Mueller < 7 {f:rentaVbrucel
