Upon completing the corrections, the owner /contractor /agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 7/24/02 Introduction The existing 360 Sq. Ft. garage on the subject property has been converted into a storage shed, which has created a violation of the City Zoning Ordiance by providing a shed greater than the allowed size. A previous office visit explainedthis violation, and it was understood that a garage door was to be installed. To date, the garage door has yet to be installed, and no permits have been obtained for the installation of a garage door. Item # 2 Code 30 1(A)(61) Compliance No Compliance Date 07/24/2002 IMMEDIATELY Description GARAGE, PRIVATE: A detached accessory structure or portion of a principle structure housing the automobiles of the occupants of the premises. Summary In order to obtaincompliance, an overhead door must be installed, so the structure qualifies as a garage rather than a shed. A permit will need to be obtained from the Inspection Services Division, Room 205, City Hall. Failure to obtain compliance will result in the issuance of municipal citations for violations of the Zoning Code.
