CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
An Occupancy Permit is hereby granted for the new single family home with
attached garage and driveway located at 1842 Michigan Street, Oshkosh,
Wisconsin 54902 as described in Building Permit Application number(s) 86110.
This building is to be used only as a single family dwelling and is located in the
R -1 Single Family Residence District.
LIMITATIONS:
Maximum Floor Loading: 40 lbs. Per square foot live load
Maximum persons and /or living units: One living unit
CONDITIONS:
1) Final grading must be done in accordance with the approved subdivision
drainage plan. This plan is on file in the public works office, 3 floor of City Hall
2) Erosion control measures must be maintained until the lawn is established.
Note: Final grade must be a minimum of 6" below all siding.
NOTE:
1) Copies of inspection results are available upon request in room 205, City Hall.
2) Future permits may be required for additional work to your property
A new Certificate of Occupancy shall be required prior to occupancy, should
additional building(s) be erected, or should any buildings mentioned above be
altered or moved. The use of land, or buildings, shall not be changed until a
Certificate of Occupancy is issued for that occupancy. All conditions noted above
must be complied with in order for this certificate to be valid.

Re: Certificate of Occupancy for 1842 Michigan Street
Dear D & A Electric:
A review of the inspection records revealed a Certificate of Occupancy has not been issued. You have
failed to arrange the necessary inspection(s) to verify code compliance. Our records indicate:
❑ A Temporary Certificate of Occupancy was granted on , subject to correcting and
obtaining a re- inspection of the attached noted code violations.
A Final Electrical Inspection conducted on 8/13/01 revealed the attached code violations,
which have not been re- inspected for compliance. These code violations prohibited
occupancy approval at that time.
❑ A Final Electrical Inspection or Re- inspection was requested, but there was no access to the
site at the time of the requested inspection.
❑ A Final Electrical Inspection has not either been requested or conducted.
❑ Other:
Without a Certificate of Occupancy there may be delays with any future sale or refinancing of the home.
Additionally, occupancy without a Certificate of Occupancy is subject to Municipal Citations. We do
not desire to resort to this measure and are requesting your assistance. Please contact this office to make
arrangements for the required inspection(s) to be performed within the next 15 days.
