HomeMy WebLinkAboutNOTICE Transportation Department TO: TRAFFIC REVIEW ADVISORY BOARD FROM: CHRISTOPHER STRONG, TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR DATE: OCTOBER 30, 2010 SUBJECT: MEETING NOTICE FOR NOVEMBER 9, 2010 A meeting of the Traffic Review Advisory Board will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in room 404, City Hall. The following items will be considered: Approval of Minutes . New Business: th 1. A request for a traffic signal to be installed at the intersection of Westhaven Drive and 9 Avenue. (Current condition: Stop signs on Westhaven Drive.) th 2. A request to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Mason Street and 9 Avenue. (Current condition: Stop signs on Mason Street.) th 3. A request to make 17 Avenue a through street at its intersection with Iowa Street. (Current Condition: 4-way stop.) 4. A request to change truck route designations on Fernau Avenue, Snell Road, Stearns Road and Walter Road. 5. A request to allow parking on the east side of Logan Drive from 1,005 feet north to 1,055 feet north of its southern intersection with Jackson Street. (Current condition: No parking.) 6. A request for no parking on the west side of Monroe Street from Merritt Avenue to 70 feet north of Merritt Avenue between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM, Mondays through Saturdays. (Current condition: Unrestricted parking.) 7. A request to create a westbound right turn lane at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Algoma Boulevard. (Current condition: Shared right-through lane.) 8. A request for a loading zone on the west side of Main Street from 170 feet south of Pearl Avenue to 135 feet south of Pearl Avenue. (Current condition: No parking.) 9. A request for 30-minute parking on the west side of Commerce Street from 158 feet north of Ceape Avenue to 202 feet north of Ceape Avenue. (Current condition: Loading zone.) 10. A request for a loading zone on the west side of Commerce Street from 50 feet north of Ceape Avenue to 72 feet north of Ceape Avenue. (Current condition: 30-minute parking.) 11. A request for stop signs on Evans Street at its intersection with Melvin Avenue. (Current condition: Yield signs.) Staff Statements 12.
