Problem/Violation: of 18- 79.1B, failure to remove garbage junk, debris and vehicle tires from
rear of dwelling.
Brief history review: Orders issued July 19, 1995 to Chris Thomas and James Manske who sold
the dwelling to Mr Thomas on Land Contract. On or about July 20, 1995 the building was
posted Unfit for Human Habitation and an additional order was mailed to both Mr Thomas and
James Manske. Mr Thomas and I met on site and the violations and correction dates where
explained to him on or about August 11, 1995. Item #2 in this order was to remove junk, debris
and tires behind the premises with a completion date of September 14, 1995. A reinspection
today revealed no compliance or contact from either Chris Thomas or James Manske.

1 7 -48A Order of the Building Inspector. The Building Inspector shall order the
owner of premises upon which is located any building or part thereof within the City,
/t / o which in the judgement of the Building inspector is so old, dilapidated or has become
so out of repair or otherwise be in a condition as to be dangerous, unsafe, unsanitary, a

would be unreasonable to repair the same, to raze and remove such building or part
thereof. The building is in such condition that it shall be removed.
The foundation will not be able to be used to construct any new
building and shall also be removed from the premises. The metal
shed shall also be removed.
2 18-79.1B All of the junk and debris including garbage and tires shall be removed from the
premises. Previously ordered corrected July 19, 1995.
CORRECTION SCHEDULE
Please contact this office as to your intentions on the razing of this dwelling before
September 7, 1995.
Item #2 shall be corrected before September 14, 1995.

1 18 -79.1B All of the junk, debris, bike parts, lumber, scrap metal, auto parts, tires and building waste
including the unlicensed inoperable vehicle shall be removed from the side and rear
premises.
2 18 -69A All tall grass, weeds and other vegetative growth along the fence/property lines in excess of 8
inches in height shall be cut.
3 18 -79.1A The dwelling is in a deteriorating and unmaintained condition with sagging roof lines, floors,
decayed window sills and a generally poor condition which tends to reduce property values
in the neighborhood. This violation has been referred to building inspector for correction.
An inspection of the interior will be required to determine whether or not building permits
will be issued for repair of the dwelling. Please contact the Building Inspector (236 -5050) to
make arrangements for an inspection.
4 NEC 210 The electrical service entrance cable is severely deteriorated creating a fire/shock hazard.
The electrical service shall be replaced per requirements of the Electrical Inspector. John

5 7 -8 There is no building permit on file for the metal shed South of the dwelling. A plot plan and
permit are required.
