SUBJECT: Violation of Oshkosh Municipal Code Section 18 - 79
at 36 Mill Street
On August 4, 1983, I inspected the exterior portions of the property
known as 36 Mill Street following a complaint regarding the condition of
the property. In my inspection, I noted several items in violation of
Oshkosh Municipal Code, section 18 - 79, including junk, wood, bricks,
and other unsightly debris around the property.
On August 5, 1983, I sent a letter to the owner of the property,
Mr. Douglas Nelson, 1722 Lombard Avenue, Oshkosh, ordering him to correct
the violations by August 19, 1983. A copy of my letter is attached.
On August 24th, I again inspected the exterior portions of the pro-
perty known as 36 Mill Street. I found that there was no change to any
of the items in violation.
I have discussed this matter with the City Manager, and he has ad-
vised me to refer this to you for legal action.
