GENERAL NOTES
1. EXISTING CONDITIONS FOR THIS PLAN ARE BASED ON SURVEY BY
GRAEF DATED MAY AND NOVEMBER 2009. ALL UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO A REASONABLE DEGREE OF
ACCURACY. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO
VERIFY THEIR EXACT LOCATION AND DEPTH.
2. IN ACCORDANCE WITH WISCONSIN STATUTE 182.01 DAMAGE TO
TRANSMISSION FACILITIES, EXCAVATOR SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE
TO PROVIDE ADVANCE NOTICE TO THE DESIGNATED "ONE CALL SYSTEM"
NOT LESS THAN THREE WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT
OF ANY EXCAVATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK CONTAINED ON
THIS DRAWING, AND FURTHER, EXCAVATOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THIS STATUTE RELATIVE TO EXCAVATOR'S WORK.
3. NOTIFY UNIVERSITY MINIMUM OF THREE DAYS PRIOR TO STARTING WORK
FOR IDENTIFICATION OF UNIVERSITY -OWNED UTILITIES.
4. REFER TO DEMOLITION PLANS FOR DETAILED DEMOLITION INFORMATION
OF SITE FEATURES.
5. REFER TO C201 -SITE LAYOUT PLAN FOR DETAILED LAYOUT INFORMATION
OF SITE FEATURES.
6. REFER TO C500 -SITE PAVING PLAN FOR PAVEMENT TYPES AND LOCATIONS.
7. REFER TO C400 -SITE GRADING PLAN FOR GRADING INFORMATION AND PROPOSED
ELEVATIONS.
8. REFER TO C300- UTILITY PLAN FOR UTILITY INFORMATION.
9. REFER TO LANDSCAPE PLANS FOR DETAILED PLANTING INFORMATION.
11. REFER TO SHEETS C600 - C604 FOR SITE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS.
13. ALL DIMENSIONS SHOWN ARE TO DECIMAL FEET. PRIOR TO START
OF CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS
AND REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE.
14. ALL WORK DONE WITHIN THE RIGHT -OF -WAY OR EASEMENTS (SIDEWALK,
PAVEMENT, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER) SHALL BE DONE PER CITY OF
OSHKOSH STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS. CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A
RIGHT -OF -WAY PERMIT FROM THE CITY PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK
WITHIN THE RIGHT -OF -WAY.
15. CONSTRUCTION /SECURITY FENCING WILL BE INSTALLED BY OWNER AT
THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION AND STAGING AREAS. FENCING SHALL BE
MAINTAINED BY CONTRACTOR THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.
16. TREE PROTECTION FENCE SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGHOUT
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD.
17. OWNER WILL PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN CONSTRUCTION FENCING AROUND
GRADING LIMITS AND CONSTRUCTION STAGING AREA.
18. DETECTABLE WARNING FIELD TRUNCATED DOMES SHALL BE CAST IRON
MANUFACTURED BY NEENAH FOUNDRY OR EQUAL
20. PROPOSED BUILDING TO BE FULLY SPRINKLERED. EXTERIOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
CONNECTION PROVIDED AS NOTED.
21. BICYCLE PARKING TO BE LOCATED INSIDE BUILDING.
