The porch will have several concrete piers dug 4 feet deep to support the structure. We will frame the porch floor out of treated 2 x 8s. The roof trusses will be cut out of 2 x 6 materials once the pitch is determined. The trusses will have a ridge beam. The porch ceiling will be framed in a way to create collar ties for the hand cut roof trusses. The porch will be constructed using all UDC codes.
