HomeMy WebLinkAboutBZA (variance) - 04/24/2001 APRIL 24, 2001 01 -179 RESOLUTION (CARRIED (0 - 0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE /1213 MAGNOLIA AVENUE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC. WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1213 Magnolia Avenue, respectfully requests a variance for a 2.5+ ft. separation between a proposed new mobile home and the lot line, and a 10± ft. separation between mobile homes, while Section 16- 15(A)(1)(c) of the Municipal Code requires a 15 ft. separation between mobile homes and Section 16- 15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 5 ft. separation from the lot line; and WHEREAS, Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the distance between a mobile home and the lot line and the distance between mobile homes, as noted above, are hereby approved.
