HomeMy WebLinkAboutBZA (variance) - 12/14/1999 DECEMBER 14, 1999 99 -466 RESOLUTION (CARRIED fl 1) LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE /1600 INDIGO DRIVE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC. WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1600 Indigo Dr., respectfully requests a variance for a 20+ ft. setback for a new mobile home while Section 16- 15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 25 ft. minimum setback from a park boundary line; and WHEREAS, Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 1600 Indigo Dr., as noted above, is hereby approved with the conditions that (a) additional landscaping be installed between the proposed trailer and the park boundary, (b) the mobile home park owner install a solid row of evergreen shrubs or trees at least 4 ft. high along the entire 20th Ave, frontage of the storage area, and (c) that all plantings be installed by June 1, 2000, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision. 4 )Roposte.
