(CARRIED 6 - 0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN
PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE / 1 502 INDIGO DRIVE
INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC.
WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1502 Indigo Dr.,
respectfully requests a variance for an 18 ± ft. setback for a new mobile home while
Section 16- 15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 25 ft. minimum setback from a
park boundary line; and
WHEREAS, Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common
Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and
WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact
on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16 -18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for
special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 1502 Indigo Dr., as
noted above, is hereby approved with the condition that the mobile home park owner
install a solid row of evergreen shrubs or trees at least 4 ft. high along the north lot line
of 1502 Indigo Dr. and the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take
necessary steps to implement this decision.
