Subject: Fence Application for 150 Rolling Green
I had to deny a fence permit for 150 Rolling Green due to a 25' rear yard drainage easement. I'm going to have this
gentleman come up and see you regarding his proposed plan. Please let me know if approval is granted and the
conditions that you'd like on the building permit.

SCOtt,
Thanks for your reply. We've been using the subdivisi n easement information on GIS. If this information is
inaccurate maybe you could provide us with the correc documents for reviewing where these easements are located.
If not I have a feeling that this may come up again in th future. Thanks for your help.
Nikki

Nicole,
The 25 ft. easement shows up on the grading plan sut not the final plat. If an easement had been dedicated we
would have had the property owner sign an encroa hment agreement with the City. Since it is not a dedicated
easement the permit can be issued with the stipula ion that the bottom of the fence be a minimum of 8" off of the
ground through the 25 ft. drainage area that is indicted on the grading plan. This will allow the flow of water
under the fence from the back of the adjacent prop -rties. Let me know if you have any questions.
