Rohloff, City Manager- --46A.4. � RE: Engineering Services Agreement Amendment — FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Application / AECOM Technical Services. ( AECOM) In September, 2009, a contract was awarded to AECOM to prepare a grant application for the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Program for the Armory Area Stormwater Detention Basin Project. Since that time, the mitigation strategy for the Campbell Creek Watershed has changed to expand the Armory Area Detention Basin and not include Westhaven Golf Course. This change required updating the storm water model, conducting additional modeling analysis, conducting additional survey work, and preparing additional materials to support the grant application. The amount of the contract amendment is $55,280. This will raise the total contract amount not to exceed $75,780. Funding for these services is available in the Storm Water Utility Budget. Section 12- 10(D)(5) of the Municipal Code provides that professional services of a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be approved by the City Manager without the use of formal, sealed quotes. In accordance with 12 -10(E) of the Code, I am hereby submitting this report regarding this contract award. Rohloff, City Manager---464-` RE: Engineering Services Agreement Amendment — Oshkosh North High School Area Stormwater Detention Basin / AECOM Technical Services. ( AECOM) In November, 2009, a contract was awarded to AECOM to prepare construction documents for the Oshkosh North High School Area Stormwater Detention Basin. Since that time, additional effort was necessary to obtain WI DNR and US Army Corps of Engineers permits related to the wetland delineation, and provide materials testing services during the construction of the detention basin. The amount of the contract amendment is $15,500. This will raise the total contract amount not to exceed $77,590. Funding for these services is available in the Storm Water Utility Budget. Section 12- 10(D)(5) of the Municipal Code provides that professional services of a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be approved by the City Manager without the use of formal, sealed quotes. Rohloff, City Manager` ` RE: Award of Engineering Services Agreement — Storm Sewer System Modeling for Various Watersheds near Railroad Bridge / AECOM Technical Services. ( AECOM) The Department of Public Works requested a proposal from AECOM to conduct storm sewer system modeling for the 10 Avenue, 14 Avenue, 15 Avenue, 16 Avenue and Pioneer Drive Watersheds. This storm sewer modeling will assist the Department of Public Works in preparing estimates for storm sewer work in this area in conjunction with planned improvements by the Canadian National Railroad in this area.. AECOM was chosen due to their history and experience in storm sewer system modeling for the City of Oshkosh. With the recently completed City Wide Storm Water Management Plan, AECOM already has the basic model structure created for the watersheds that are to be analyzed with this project. The cost of these design services is estimated not to exceed $86,700. Funding for these services is available in the Storm Water Utility Budget.
