Agenda items for special meeting of August 23, 2010 The following items are scheduled on the agenda for RDA review and possible action on Monday, August 23, 2010. Accept 2008/2009 Audit
Schenck has completed the 2008/2009 audit of the Redevelopment Authority funds and a copy of the Audit is in your packet. City Finance Director Steeno is not able to attend the RDA meeting
on the 23rd. If you have any questions regarding the Audit, we can arrange for Ms. Steeno and/or Schenck to answer them. Resolution 10-18 Award Partial Bid to Radtke Contractors for
Marion Road Riverwalk Improvements ($696,403.45) I have attached the bid tabulations that were opened on July 27, 2010. The bids came in under budget. The base bid is for the western
portion of the riverwalk identified in the attached map. This section of riverwalk must be completed in conjunction with the Rivers housing project that is currently underway. The City
is required to complete the riverwalk in this location according to the Development Agreement. Staff recommends approval of Resolution 10-18. Staff is still determining a recommended
financing method for the balance of the riverwalk improvements in the bid alternates. A staff recommendation for the alternate bids will be on the September RDA agenda. Marion Road Redevelopment
Area Staff attended the Waterways Commission meeting on August 13, 2010 and presented the grant application for the Marion Road Zone finger docks shown on the Riverwalk Master Plan.
The Waterways Commission awarded the City $325,000 for the docks for construction in 2011-2012. Staff will be working on completing the financial package for the docks in conjunction
with the riverwalk construction.
