The following violations were noted at the final building and heating inspection. It would appear that the building was built to
the former Commercial Building Code. In checking the file it was noted that the plans were approved under the IBC, therefore
the old code can not be used. I have enclosed copies of the IBC code requirements for your information.

Description The maximum riser heights shall be 7.75 inches and the minimum tread depth shall be 10 inches. A nosing not Tess than .75
inch but not more than 1.25 inches shall be provided on stairways with solid risers where the tread depth is less than 11

Description Stair treads and risers shall be of uniform size and shape. The tolerance between the largest and smallest riser shall not
exceed .375 inch in any flight of stairs.

Description Occupancy is not allowed until the occupancy permit is issued and all final inspections are approved. It was noted at the final
inspection that unit #1 was occupied. Citations may be issued if this unit is not vacated.

Summary The violations are required to be corrected within the next 30 days. Occupancy is not approved and citations will be issued if
the units are occupied without approval. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 236 -5036.
Violations must be corrected and approved within 30 days unless otherwise noted. Call for reinspections prior to concealment
and /or occupancy. Upon completing the corrections, the owner /contractor /agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice
and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 6/16/05
Office hours for obtaining permits are Monday through Friday 7:30 -8:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. or by appointment. To schedule
inspections please call the Inspection Request line at 236 -5128 noting the address, permit number (when applicable), and the
nature of what needs to be inspected.
