Kinney Director PLAN COMMISSION AGENDA MARCH 5, 2002 4:00 PM To Whom It May Concern: Tuesday, PLEASE NOTE the City of Oshkosh Plan Commission will meet on March 5, 2002 at 4:00 pm in Room 404 at the Oshkosh City Hall to consider the following agenda. ROLL CALL APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 19, 2002 MINUTES CONSENT AGENDA I: A: Extraterritorial Land Division/Certified Survey Map 5900 Block of Gibs Road Roehlig Land Surveying & Consulting, petitioner for Ann Tadych, owner, requests Plan Commission review and approval of an extraterritorial land division/certified survey map (CSM) for property generally located in the 5900 Block of Gibs Road in the Town of Vinland. B: Accept Temporary Sidewalk Construction Easements along Sawyer Street from Rush Avenue to Sawyer Creek The Department of Public Works requests Plan Commission review and approve the acceptance of temporary sidewalk construction easements along N. Sawyer Street from Rush Avenue to Sawyer Creek. The City of Oshkosh is planning to reconstruct Sawyer Street in 2003 and the sidewalks along both sides of the street need to be reconstructed. In order to reconstruct the sidewalks the City will need to accept temporary construction easements from some owners in the project area. Portions of sidewalks are being reconstructed adjacent to driveways or at the street intersections for handicap ramps. II: PRELIMINARY PLAT – FIRST ADDITION TO QUAIL RUN FARM: Roehlig Land Surveying & Consulting, petitioner for Alexander & Bishop Ltd., owner, requests the Plan Commission to review and approve a preliminary plat known as the First th Addition to Quail Run Farm for property generally located north of 9 Avenue and to the north and west of Quail Run Drive. The 24.6 acre subject property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residence. III: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A 16-UNIT APARTMENT TH BUILDING FOR THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED AT 521 W. 16 AVE Zion Lutheran Church, petitioner and owner, requests the Plan Commission review and approve a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a 16 unit apartment building to house the th elderly and disabled at 521 W. 16 Avenue. The subject property is zoned R-3 PD Multiple Dwelling District with a Planned Development (PD) overlay. The PD overlay requires a development plan review for the property and the issuance of a CUP. The subject property contains a large former manufacturing building that was converted to a restaurant in 1997. The restaurant went out of business sometime in the last 2-3 years and has been vacant since.
