CITY OF OSHKOSH REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES Special Meeting August 2, 2004 4:00 PM PRESENT: Thomas Belter, John Bermingham Jr., Mark Harris, John Ruppenthal EXCUSED: Sheldon Lasky,
Robert Pung, Karen Matze STAFF: Jackson Kinney, Director of Community Development; Darryn Burich, Planning Director/Recording Secretary, Susan Kepplinger, Principal Planner The meeting
was called to order at 4:00 pm by Chairman Ruppenthal. Approval of Consent Agenda Motion by Bermingham, seconded by Belter, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried by voice vote.
Acquisition of Parcel within South Shore Redevelopment Area Ms. Kepplinger stated that the property owner at 30 W. 8th Avenue had inquired if the City was interested in acquiring her
property, which totals approximately 22,000 square feet and has frontage on W. 7th Avenue. Ms. Kepplinger explained that acquisition of this property would provide additional lands for
a future redevelopment project in the block in which the City has previously acquired an adjacent parcel and is consistent with the Redevelopment Project Plan. She explained that if
the RDA granted approval staff would then obtain a full narrative appraisal of the property. Motion by Bermingham to direct staff to obtain a full narrative appraisal on the subject
property. Seconded by Belter. Motion carried 4-0. Motion by Bermingham that following the adjournment of this meeting, the Redevelopment Authority convene into closed session in the
community development conference room to discuss the status present and perspective for deliberating and negotiating a land sale in the Marion Rd./Pearl Ave. Redevelopment Project Area
pursuant to section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Seconded by Belter. Motion carried by voice vote. Motion by Belter, seconded by Bermingham to adjourn. Motion carried
