1 CITY OF OSHKOSH LANDMARKS COMMISSION MINUTES COMMISSION MEETING October 8, 2003 COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Orv Hando, Jim Grine, Shirley Mattox, Dick Rueckl, Jane Westphal. AD HOC MEMBERS
PRESENT: None EXCUSED: Harold Buchholz, Carol Esslinger, Laurel Forsythe. STAFF: Susan Kepplinger CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Orv Hando called the meeting to order and a quorum was declared
present. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Dick Rueckl moved approval of the minutes for the September meeting. Jim Grine seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. UPDATE ON RIVERSIDE CEMETERY
RECOGNITION EVENT Staff has been working with the Museum staff on the arrangements for this event, which is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25 at the Riverside Chapel. Commission
staff will arrange for copying and mailing invitations developed by Museum staff. Commissioners suggested individuals and groups who they felt would be interested in knowing about and
attending the event. There was discussion regarding Landmarks Commission participation in the event and Jim Grine agreed to represent the Commission and to work with Museum Staff on
a presentation on the Chapel architecture, history and art works. ORDINANCE DISCUSSION Commissioners agreed to lay this item over until Chair Harold Buchholz is present. OTHER BUSINESS
2 Staff reported on the progress of the Webster Block and advised the Commission of the upcoming open house. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Jane Westphal moved the meeting
