Members who are unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to submit ideas prior to the meeting. OTHER BUSINESS Harold Buchholz suggested breaking the City up into areas each Commissioner could informally monitor for activities affecting historic properties. This will be considered during the December goal setting session. Shirley Mattox reported on the conference held by the Wisconsin Association of Historic Preservation Commissions. The Zuerns received award for restoration of the 6th Avenue Fire Station. She inquired regarding Commission membership in this organization. Staff reported that staff had a membership, which was less expensive than a Commission membership and copies were made of the organizations mailings for Commission members, so there would be no apparent benefit for the additional expense. After discussion, Commissioners agreed to contribute personal funds for a Commission level membership. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Dick Rueckl moved the meeting be adjourned.
