E NEWSLETTER Commissioners discussed possible topics for future newsletter. ANNUAL REPORT There was no discussion on this item. REDESIGNATION OF 226 HIGH There was no action on this
item. MEETING TIMES, DATES, COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP Staff explained that the Mayor had directed staff to poll their respective Boards and Commissions to see if they were satisfied with
their meeting time and date, and with the number of members and the interest on the part of the public in membership. Commissioners felt that the meeting time and date worked fairly
well and even though it was not always convenient for everyone, it was probably the best after discussion of alternatives. Commissioners also discussed the qualifications and interest
in architecture and history needed to permit citizens to be effective members of the Landmarks Commission and that makes it challenging to identify potential new members. At Burk Tower’s
suggestion, Commissioners agreed to revisit this matter in September. ADJOURNMENT There being no further further business, Shirley Mattox moved adjournment. Todd Clark seconded the motion,
which passed unanimously. Respectfully Submitted, Susan Kepplinger Principal Planner
