RIVERSIDE CEMETERY SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT Arlene Schmuhl reported that she, Bev Harrington and Todd Clark had met to plan the work of the Committee. The first step for the subcommittee will be to meet Mary Tollard on site and become more familiar with the office/chapel facility, policies and procedures. The subcommittee will then, in consultation with the City Forester who supervises the Cemetery, develop a five year proposed capital improvement plan plan for the office/chapel, and other physical improvements to the site including the entrance sign and street signage. The plan will be part of what guides future subcommittee activities. In addition, a subcommittee member will begin the process of determining hardware and software needs and of establishing a process for digitizing paper records, especially obituaries. MENOMINEE PARK BEACH HOUSE Todd Clark reported that he had spoken to the Parks Director regarding repair of the beach house roof. Due to budget constraints, a decision had been made to simply repair the roof as is. Since the roof will need additional significant work in the future, there will be an opportunity to reconstruct it so it is both architecturally appropriate and functional.
