ROLL CALL APPROVAL OF MAY 14, 2003 MEETING MINUTES I: 1283 BAY SHORE DRIVE Terry Laib, applicant, for Donald and Sylvia McDonald, owners, are requesting a building code variance to the City’s Building Code. Per Oshkosh Building Code Section 7-33, persons may file an appeal to the Board of Appeals as provided in the City Zoning Ordinance, Section 30-6(B)(2)(a) if an equally good or better form of construction is proposed. All appeals shall be accompanied by supporting data. The application is being made to have a set of spiral stairs without a code compliant landing. II: 3250 W. 9TH AVENUE David L. Sennholz, applicant for New Life Community Church, is requesting a variance to construct a ground sign for an institutional use that will incorporate two bulletin boards of 25 sq. ft. each, whereas Section 30-37(F)(1)(c) of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance requires institutions have a single bulletin board, not to exceed 24 sq. ft. in size. III: 1010 W. 20TH AVENUE Thomas J. Sitter, applicant, and Thomas Rusch, owner, are requesting a variance to construct a ground sign that will have a 16’ front yard setback, whereas Section 30-35(B)(1)(d) of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance requires a 25’ front yard setback. IV: LOTS 122, 123, 124 OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH REPLAT NUMBER 2 Jeremy M. Phillips-Short Elliot Hendrickson, Inc., applicants for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO), are requesting a variance to construct an off-street parking area that will have 10’ side and rear yard setbacks and a 25’ front yard setback, whereas Section 30-35(B)(1)(c) of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance requires a 20’7” setback to the west, a 19’3” setback to the east, a 25’ setback to the north, and a 25’ front yard setback.
