Since the IBC section 3105 requires that canopies be designed and constructed to the loads specified in Chapter 16 (which includes snow Toads) we need to make sure that if we allow this without requiring the capability to carry snow that we don't allow it to be in place any time there is the potential for snow that would cause a collapse. We are just covering the front portion and not the long side patio. The fabric cover is to be removed by us in the fall and then installed back on the frame in the spring. This will not have any graphics on the canopy. I have also included some pictures of a canopy we did in Dubuque Iowa. This one was a larger unit but it will be the same construction.
