The submittal has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED. The owner, as defined in chapter 101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements. Only those object types listed above have been approved; other submittals such as plumbing. The following conditions shall be met during construction or installation and prior to occupancy or use: Key Item(s) • This approval letter will be valid only when attached to plan sets bearing the signature and seal of the designing Wisconsin registered architect or engineer and corresponds with the approved copy on file with the department. • Pools require a minimum of one inspection. It is the option of the inspector to require additional inspections. Inspections shall include verification that sump(s) is built in accordance with fig. 2 of ASME/ANSI standard A112.19.8 -2007. The supervising professional is responsible to contact the appropriate inspector when the installation is in the rough -in- stage. • When calling for the pool inspection, be sure a copy of the approval letter and signed and sealed plan set is on the jobsite and the inspector informed where to locate it. Failure to have the plan at the jobsite will result in a re- inspection assessment to cover the cost of the inspector returning to the job site. • The ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 -2007 standard requires pool/spa drain covers be stamped as VGBA certified. The owner(s) of the pool shall be given a copy of this information which includes the life expectancy of the cover. • Main drain frame and grates are `Lawson' MLD -FGD -1818. • The recirculation pump is a `Aurora'341BF 3x4x9B 15 HP with a maximum flow of 680 gpm. BRIAN W FREBER Page 2 3/8/2010 A copy of the approved plans, specifications and this letter shall be on -site during construction and open to inspection by authorized representatives of the Department, which may include local inspectors. All permits required by the state or the local municipality shall be obtained prior to commencement of construction /installation/operation. Any local requirements shall be complied with. In granting this approval, the Division of Safety & Buildings reserves the right to require changes or additions, should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structure, or component. The Division does not take responsibility for the design or construction of the reviewed items.
