To the _ _ _ _-- of the City of Oshkosh:
The petition of the undersigned residents of said city respectfully represents:
That your petitioners are residents of the said city, and that each of them resides in the street of the said city
respectively written below after their names(s),

ON THE WATER
We, the undersigned citizens with property frontage on Idaho Street feel that the special assessment for improvements
to our street is inequitable. Per municipal code Idaho Street is not zoned as a heavy traffic route, yet Public Works as
well as Parks and Forestry heavy vehicles have used our street as a routine thoroughfare. The abnormal heavy truck
traffic has caused Idaho Street to deteriorate prematurely. The improper usage has been ongoing for years and has
only in the last week lessened, despite residents expressing concern to city officials in the past. For this reason we
request that the City assume responsibility for a large enough- portion of the cost for street replacement on Idaho
Street so as to lessen the current responsibility of the affected residents by 50 %.
