HomeMy WebLinkAboutCertificate of Occupancy - 01/11/1966 January 11, 1966 Mr. Morse McKee i\t/ 1118 Windsor Street Oshkosh Dear Sir: This letter is confirming our conversation of January 7, 1966, concerning the accessory ouilding on your property at 1118 Windsor Street, Oshkosh. A building permit was not secured for this ouilding prior to the placement on your property. A building permit is required before moving, building, enlarging or altering a building or structure in the city of Oshkosh. This wilding must either be removed immediately or a ouilding permit secured and the ouilding oe orought into compliance with the ouilding code and zoning ordinance of the city of Oshkosh. In order that it be in compliance with zoning requirements, the ouilding must be placed at least 60 feet oack from the front property line and at least 2i feet from the side and rear property lines. The structure must also oe at least five feet behind the house. The building was locked when I called at the pro- perty and therefore 1 am unable to tell you at this time whether the structure complies with the building code. If it does not comply, changes will have to be made to bring it in compliance with code requirements. Ir: any case, a foundation in compliance with the ouilding code must be provided. Due to weather conditions, we will allow a delay in construction of the foundation; however, a ouilding permit must oe secured or the ouilding removed before January 17, 1966. A plot plan showing the location of the ouilding will oe necessary for us to issue a building permit. The foundation must be completed before April 15, 1966. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Very truly yours, Edward L. Reimer ELR:kmp ouilding Inspector
