Chemicals are for Water Filtration and Wastewater Treatment Plants. ANALYSIS Bids were reviewed with Steve Brand, Superintendent of Utilities. The following unit prices for bids as indicated are recommended for council award. Liquid Oxygen: Air Gas $.3384/gl. Liquid Polyelectrolyte: Polydyne, Inc., $.440/lb. Liquid Chlorine: Hydrite Chemical $590.00 /tn. Aluminum Sulfate: General Chemical $445.87/tn. Ferrous Chloride: Rowell Chemical $.60 /lb. Liquid Odor Control: Hawkins $2.295/gl. Note: Bids were near or below last year's bid prices. FISCAL IMPACT Fiscal impact estimates for the chemicals are on the attached bid tabulations. Funding for the chemicals will be from the following utility accounts: Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Polyelectrolyte & Aluminum Sulfate: 541- 1810 -1507- 00000, Liquid Chlorine & Ferrous Chloride: 551 -1940- 6529- 00000, Liquid Odor Control: 551- 1930 - 6529- 00000.
