I was hoping to 'let somebody else do it," because I am stretched very thin at the moment, but Tony Palmeri called to personally ask me submit anapplication because he thought I would be a calming influence and good at listening to people. That presents two problems: (1) maintianing acceptable population levels of those which tend to become too abundant and (2) protecting the public from wildlife to human transmitted diseases such as rabies, lyme disease.
