Approval is withheld because of the following code violations. ILRR 56.06 (2)(b) There shall be no roves or closets placed under a stairway or landing. A storage room is called out for on the partial first floor plan and lower right hand corner of your plans. ILP!R 51.16 (5) At the head and /or foot of each stairway being altered a landing or platform shall be placed between the door and the stairway regardless of the direction of swing of the door. very landing or platform shall be at least as wide se the stairway measured at right angles to the direction of travel. wry landing or platform must have a length of at least 3' measured in the direction of travel. You are hereby advised that the owner as defined in Chapter 101.01(2)(i) of the Wisconsin State Statutes is responsible for all code requirements not specifi- cally cited herein. Code requirements are set forth in Chapters 50 through 64 of the rules of the department. The building will be inspected during and after construction by a deputy of this Department to insure complete compliance with Wisconsin Codes. The owner may notify the state building inspector listed below if a final inspection is desired before taking possession of the building. IND. 50.15 EDVIDENCE OF APPROVAL.
