RE: Home Occupation, 1639 White Swan Drive
Dear Mr. Chase,
It has come to the city's attention that a roofing company is operating its business
out of your property located at 1639 White Swan Drive, City of Oshkosh. Your property
is Zoned R -1 Single Family Residence District, and this type of use is not permitted
within the R -1 Zoning District. The Ameritech Telephone Book lists this company as
"Shoreview Roofing, 1639 White Swan Dr. with Erik Chase identified as the proprietor.
In order to comply with the Zoning Ordinance, the use of the property, as a
Roofing Business, must discontinue immediately. If you wish to continue to operate a
roofing business within the City of Oshkosh, you will need to find a suitable site, which
would permit this type of use.
This is your first notice in this matter, and failure to comply will result in the
issuance of municipal citations for a violation of Chapter 30 of the City of Oshkosh
Municipal Code, and the referral of this matter to the City Attorneys Office for legal
disposition.
