Kohlhoff 322 Church Avenue Oshkosh, WI 54901 Dear Mr. Kohlhoff We appreciate your interest in the problems we have been experiencing this past year. Our record of respecting and improving your property at 819 John Avenue last year should show you our sincerity. All we ask in return is the respect of our rights as tenants. It was our understanding that the rules and contract that you a landlord required your tenants to sign were designed for the protection of your rights as well as ours. Unfortunately, the violation of several of these rules which have been brought to your attention by us in the past have yielded little in the way of action. The tenants of 341 Saratoga still use their apartment as a boardinghouse harboring guests on a permanent basis and no insulation has been installed in the attic. To add to these problems snow shoveling has been ignored, the problem of the door being left open has worsened, mounds of dog feci have grown in the backyard unkept and criminal damage to one of our cars by the `ather of the signed tenant has been ignored. We know your hands are tied concerning some of these blatant health and building violations with regards to evicting those responsible. However, it will be costly to yourself if the building inspector must enforce these rules. We have tried to clear up these problems through your office, but nothing has been done. A copy of this letter will be forwarded to the building and health inspectors and hopefully some of these problems can be bleared up quickly. If you have any questions or need any validation of the exist- ing problems, we encourage you to come out and observe the situation for yourself. We suggest that you don't wear your good shoes. Sincerely (#4.i2 Tenants of 341 A Saratoga a,„ (--..(-!---ed-4/A-/ 2z11 hi/14/3
