Re: Changes to Lane Street Special Assessments - Contract 09 -07
I am writing to inform you that the special assessment changes described by Assistant Director
of Public Works, Steven Gohde, in his June 11 letter, will not be considered by the Common
Council at their June 23, 2009, meeting. These changes require a publication of a notice in the
newspaper and this was not accomplished per the requirements of State Statutes. Because of this
requirement, the discussion of these special assessment changes needs to be postponed until the
July 14, 2009, meeting of the Common Council. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by
this change in the meeting date. If you have questions, please contact the Engineering Division
at 236 -5065.
