"UWO ", anti tho City of Oshkosh, a municipal corporation, hereinafter callod "CITY ". W U WO has requestvd the CITY provide a dedicated parallntcuc ambulance for stand -by, during specified hours for the World Wrestling Event to be held at the Kolf Sport Centex and WHEP,EAS, tljc Common Council for the City of Oshkosh has authorized the appropriate City officials to enter into such an agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the parties to this agreement that the Crly shall provide one (1) two - person paramedic ambulance to be present at the Kolf Sport Center during the World Wresting Event on Friday, January 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..The paramedic unit shall be primarily responsible for providing fast aid and response to medical cluergoncies. rl' TS FURTHER AGREE that UWO shall pay $80 per hour for the ambulance. Billed time will commence 30 minutes prior to the start of stand by and end 30 minutes after the termination of stand -by. Any additi.onsd hours requested or required to provide adequate service in the sole opinion 01`the Duty Chief for the City of Oshkosh Fire Dopautnnent, shall be added to the prescheduled stand- by hours and billed at the same hourly rate. if for any reason the event is cancelled, a three (3) hour minimum will be charged if the event is not cancelled at least twelve (12) hours before the scheduled start tune. lire- evetzt cancellations shall be made by calling (920) 236 -5240 between 8.00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or (924) 236 -5271 at other times. The CITY shall in voice UWO Stadium Budget, c/o Susie Gustke, 800 Algoma Blvd., Oslilsosh, W1 54901 following each event, with payment to be made within 30 days of receipt of invoice, Failure to timely pay an invoice shall be a breach of this agreement. All patients requiring transport by the Oshkosh Fire Department wbuhxict will be billed for services rendered according to the CITY's usual and customary procedures at►d rates for service. Consistent with the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin, each party to this contract agrees to assume liability for the 'wrongfiil acts or omissions of its employees or agents while they are functioning within the scope of their employment or agency, and hold the other hartnless for such liability. The Board of Regents for the University of Wisconsin System. agrees to provide liability protection for its officers, employees and agents while acting within the scope of their employment.
