Please read the following information and sign at the bottom to acknowledge that you have read
and agree to comply ~th these conditions.
1. All habitable rooms must be provided with 8% li

2. Garage spaces shall be separated from the dwelling unit in accordance with ILHR 21.08.
The door and fr~..~.~ly between the dwelling unit and an attached garage shall be
labeled byan independent testing agency as having a minimum fire-resistive rating of 20
· minutes. All drywall joints are required to be taped/sealed unless the joints are fitted so
that the gap is no more than a dimes thickness ( 1/20-inch) and backed by solid wood or
drywall with the joints staggered.
3. penetrations in exterior walls must be sealed prior to the insulation inspection. This
includes holes in the top and bottom plates, gaps around heating ducts, and holes in the
return air spaces.

inspection~ In addition to the truss plans, microlam calculations must be provided on site
at the rough building inspection for all microlams with point loads on them.

and TJI's 'must be designed for the cantilevered areas.

The property owner' and applicant is responsible for comPliance with ILHR 21.125
(Erosion Control). Wh® inst~iling ~edess~dri3~s}' a minimum of 2"-3" diamete~ ~t0ne is'
required in addition to a minimum'of 6" depth, 30'-50' length, and 14'-20' width. Erosion
control measures must be maintained until the lawn is 'established.

All storm sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices. Tracking
(i:e. sediment) must be removed from the street at the end of each workday. Repair any
siltation or erosion damage to adjoining surfaces and'drainageways resulting from land

the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If the placard is not
present at any inspection, stop work oiders will be posted. Additional placards'can be
obtained through our department if the cards are misplaced.

All mechanicals muSt be roughed in prior to requesting the rough building' insPeCtion. If ........

When requesting final i'nspections please note that a minimum Of 2daYs n0ti~e i~ n~e~ded
from the time the inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in' the"~-ntdi~
of the garage floor and a minimum of a 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
the garage. At the final inspection no furniture or personal belongings are allowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are not to be set in
place due to the electrical inspector needing to look at the power serving the appliances.
A 6' stepladder must be on site at the final inspecti°n to provide accesS to the attiC.

The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen window until
occupancy is approved. O~cupancy is hot all0'Vi/ed priO~ tO the Placard haVing ai~' 6fth~
final inspection approved stickers on' the backside. If occupancy occurs prior to the
inspections being approved daily citations will be issued with no further 'notice being
given.
