Re: Open Correction Notice for 541 Monroe St. in Oshkosh, WI
Dear Sir or Madam,
You recently took ownership of a property located at 541 Monroe St. in Oshkosh, WI as a
result of a foreclosure. This letter is to inform you that the property is in violation of the
Property Maintenance Code for the City of Oshkosh. This office has been working with
the former owners, Wilton and Lisa Brown, to resolve these matters. Since you are now
the listed owner of the property, it is your responsibility to make sure that the necessary
repairs are made and that the required re-inspection to verify compliance is completed. I
have enclosed a copy of the updated Correction Notice that was issued as well as photos
that were taken during a recent status inspection. Please note that only items #5 and #6
are unresolved.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience so we can discuss what course of action
you intend to take with the property. I can answer any questions you may have at that
time. A schedule of repairs with a reasonable timeframe will need to be submitted if you
will be unable to bring the property into compliance within the next 30 days. Once again,
a re-inspection shall be completed to verify compliance before this file is closed. The
