Dave, it looks like you have the whole base plate/bolt assembly below grade now, Im concerned about
rust. Can you show it like we talked about with the plates raised above grade on smaller conc.
pedestals, and then stepping back the rest of the foundation below grade at least 4", maybe more like
6. There has to be enough room for a sidewalk slab to go over the north extensions of the
foundation. You are also showing the existing pile cap coming all the way up to the sign base plate in
your lower right drawings, when the top should be 25" below grade, so Im not entirely clear on your
design.
