You could use $15,000 and I will let you know if we exceed that.
We are not making any reaairs to the deck, It is OK, has grouted joints and has a vapor barrier that we are leaving in place unless
it is rotted or loose. If we need to replace the vapor barrier we will inspect the joints, grout if necessary, and place a slip sheet over
the joint prior to installing new vapor barrier materials.

Good Morning Terry;
Do you have a ball park estimate or a "not to exceed" value that was given to Axel Tech? We can use this type of figure for the
time being.
See questions I have posed in your a-mail below
Forward the standard value and roof assembly information and I will prepare the permit. If any questions come up, I will contact
you.
Thanks.

Subject: Axeltech repairs
Allyn,
We are going to be doing some roof repair at Axeltech. Basically, this is over concrete decks that have an existing vapor barrier
where leaks can interfere with operations by getting into electrical equipment.
There will be some spot repair on Built-up roofs as well as some single ply. Are you repairing to the deck or just the top
membrane?
We will be going to go back with compatible materials in kind. The base will be polyiso and dens deck. All the materials used in
the repairs would have a roofnav number if done as an entire system over a metal deck, but I do not think I can provide any over
the concrete deck because roofnav does not address systems over concrete or such NC structures. That is my understanding
anyway. With concrete decks, the state has given direction tha# the concrete serves as a 15 min. thermal barrier as long as any
joints in the precast are solid grouted and in good shape (to limit heat transfer.} Some designers recommend a slip sheet over
the joints to further reduce any chance of ma#erials seeping through the joints if there were any melting.
I know that you stated that repairs of over, I believe, $1000 require a permit. This is a time and material situation, and while I am
relatively sure that the amount will exceed $1000,
I do not know what that figure will be.
Can you advise me as to how you want us to handle this?
