Home My WebLink About08-300AUGUST 26, 2008 08-300 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: AMEND SPECIAL ASSESSMENT POLICY INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the following amendment to the Special Assessment Policy is approved: From Page 3: Delete: 3. For any corner lots, the assessment rate would be reduced by 50% on the long side of the lot, as platted, up to a maximum deduction of 75 lineal feet. The short side of the lot, as platted, shall pay 100% of the assessment rate. Replace with: 3. For any corner lots, the assessment rate would be reduced by 50% on the long side of the lot, as platted, up to a maximum deduction of 75 lineal feet. The short side of the lot, as platted, shall pay 100% of the assessment rate. For any lot which abuts two streets and has a third side with frontage abutting an alley, the assessment rate shall be reduced by 50% on the alley side of the lot. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these changes shall be effective for all projects beginning on or after the date of passage and publication of this resolution.
