Dear Ben:
T
,Y
This letter is bring sent to verify the adequacy of the 9-5" TJI®/ProT'~ 157 joist at 16" on center in
the about referenced project. The 9.5" TTI®/ProTM 150 joist at 16" on center with the center of the
14' middle span offset a maximum of 1" from the centerline of the joist, •,vill be adequate with
anothex joist placed. with in 3" from the offset joist. This is shown on the Inclosed TJ-Si2ingTM
calclxlation_ T~ r~':c•~t~.``,~ ~ .-~'-:P ~ :~'i~e~1 by the following date and time in the upper left-hand
Corner:

This analysis assumes all floor panel edges are supported and the joists a;-e not more than %Z" out of
plumb. The joist spacing may be adjusted plus or minus 3" to accommodate the repair. Joist
rollover must be prevented by tither installing blocking panels at the ends or by using the criteria for
attachment in t" - `"' "~'T'„r/'~r •71^ ~ gn+-~ !l\~.It,j AP OPYYON' detail.
This analysis is based on information you provided. Any deviation from this information will
require re-evaluation_
We have not reviewed the project plans to determine if product applieati~~n, design loads, and
dimensions arc eortot. An a.>~thority familiar with the structure must coliftrm ~e validity of the
loads and dirr~~:_:! ~,: _ _'. _
The calculations apply only to the Trus Joist product, 9.5" TA®/ProT"t 150 joist at 16" on center,
with the Silent Floor trademark in tht above project. Please look for the proper Tres Joist
trademarks when at the project site.
