Dear Darryn: O~n\ v Planning Environmental Surveying Engineering Architecture Bergstrom Corp. has been made aware of the increased maintenance requirements of the proposed layout, as outlined in Mr. James Rabe's email correspondence of July 3, 2008. We have determined that the increased costs associated with storm sewer installation outweigh the benefits. We are aware that the construction of the curb as shown on proposed plans may create additional maintenance requirements. Snow removal contractors will not pile snow along the curb. The proposed curb cut has also been widened to 10' to allow for snow removal by a plow truck, this will ensure that the opening does not become blocked in the spring. If you have any additional concerns or comments please let us know. Sincerely, Martenson 8~ Eisele, Inc. Bergst orp. f~~l Aaron S. A copy of the letter from M&E needs to be sent over to Inspections to be include with the address files for both parcels. I've copied Mike on this response so that he can look into the connection charge, of respond as to who may need to be involved. James From: Buck, David Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2008 2:33 PM To: Rabe, James E. Subject: F1N: Bergstom CSM - 3660 Jackson Street Howdy James and Steve, Unsure if either of you had a chance to look over the letter regarding the new curb opening for the Bergstrom CSM - 3660 Jackson Street. I told Mark with M&E that I would get back to him yet today and was wondering if you had a chance to look at the copy of the letter and let me know what you think... Should we sign the CSM or hold it? Additionally, it is my understanding from Mr. Nau that the property owner has to get the $936 san. sewer connection charge bill from Mike Fisher and then pay at the collections counter downstairs. Could either of you guys confirm this? Thanks in advance. David L. Cc: Burich, Darryn; Nau, Jeff Subject: Bergstom CSM - 3660 Jackson Street Hello Steve & James, Darryn received a letter (you were both copied) from Aaron Madsen (M&E) and John Hogerty (Bergstrom) regarding their stormwater situation at 3660 Jackson St. stating they are changing plans by increasing the size of the curb opening to 10 feet and directing "snow removal contractors" to not stack snow on the curb. Planning does not have an issue with this approach but will continue to hold up signing the CSM until we get "sign-off' Engineering. Please let me know if this new approach is o.k. or what the current status is. Thanks. David L.
